Together with other organizations and individuals, we regularly do charity works and volunteer programs to help the hungry and homeless around Southwest Missouri.

The Southwest Missouri Coalition of Charities and Community Services is a nonprofit organization in Monett, Missouri that aims to provide employment opportunities, childcare services, food, shelter, and other essential resources to people in need. Together with other organizations and individuals, we regularly do charity works and volunteer programs to help the hungry and homeless around Southwest Missouri.



OUR SERVICES

  1. Unsheltered support - currently homeless, pending losing home, & living w/ someone else (couch surfing, garage, etc 
  2. Temporary & Transitional housing support - help with keeping housing until able to retain permanent housing 
  3. Rental, Temporary housing support to become eligible for permanent housing such as with Habitat for Humanity
  4. Food Insecure - help with signing up for MO food benefits (emergency, temporary, permanent), food pantry eligibility
  5. Nutrition - help learning how to can, garden, dehydrate, balanced diet with diabetes training, becoming self sufficient
  6. Child Care - help finding in home, licensed, un licensed and religious affiliation childcare - all ages, days & shifts
  7. Education - GED, HIset, Diploma, College & Technical school help finding classes, testing and tutoring 
  8. Transportation - Emergency, Ride Share, Public, Medical transport. Help finding, and paying for
  9. Financial - Help with learning to budget, open a checking/savings account, get a personal loan 
  10. Mentoring & Tutoring - All ages 
  11. Online and other document retrieval such as finding and paying for drivers license, social security card, birth certificate, bank statements, diploma, and other documents needed for employment, residence, and immigration
  12. Mental Health referrals and information 
  13. Addiction referrals and information including programs (AA, NA, Celebrate Recovery) and in house recovery
  14. Self Sufficiency tips & tricks 
  15. All of our services at this time are free because of donation. We don't give hand outs, only hand ups and we hope that everyone will always play it forward. This is not a complete list of what we can help with. Contacts us for more
